Turtles and chinchillas: Enjoying their new life

When it comes to relocation, we tend to think about our belongings, our children… What about our pets?

Your pet relocation is also a vital part of your move and therefore, it is something that needs to be planned wisely. Remember that registrations, medical checks and other travel requirements might delay their journey. However, with careful planning and with enough time to prepare the journey, you can minimise the time that you and your pet will be apart and your beloved friends will be able to enjoy a new life like these turtles and chinchillas!

A transatlantic move

For the first time, Crown Relocations Italy had the pleasure to relocate two water turtles from their initial home in Italy to their new house in the Florida.

Thanks to an initial assessment with their owner to understand the turtles’ needs during the relocation, a special crate was designed to ensure a smooth transatlantic journey.

The two turtles travelled by air, from Milan to Orlando airport, and they could reunite promptly with their owner. Now, they are enjoying the American life in Orlando.

Heading to the Mediterranean sea

Angus and Basil are two British chinchillas, whose owner had to relocate from the United Kingdom to Italy. Despite being very delicate pets which need special care, their owner decided to move to Milan with them.

Through a special air shipment organised by Crown Relocations, they arrived happily and safely in Italy, where they could reunify with their owner. After some time in their new home following a special diet (chinchillas should follow it after a journey in order to avoid healthy problems or stress), they are living the Italian life with their owner.
