The ONE Pass is a personalised work pass, issued to the individual rather than tied to a specific employer. Introduced by Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower (MOM), it is targeted at outstanding professionals who bring exceptional skills, networks and expertise into Singapore’s economy.

With a five-year validity (renewable), the ONE Pass offers unmatched career flexibility, allowing you to work across multiple organisations, take on board roles, or even start your own business, without having to reapply for new work passes.

No. The ONE Pass is issued to the individual and does not require ongoing employer sponsorship.

Yes. The ONE Pass is renewable for a further five years, subject to meeting MOM renewal requirements.

Yes. Eligible spouses may apply for a Letter of Consent (LOC) to work in Singapore.

Applicants must qualify through one of the two main routes (as of 2026):

  • Salary Route:
    • Earned a fixed monthly salary of at least S$30,000 overseas (or its foreign equivalent) for the past 12 consecutive months, immediately preceding the application, or
    • Will earn a fixed monthly salary of at least S$30,000 from a Singapore-based employer
    • Overseas applicants must show they have worked for an established company (market cap >US$500m or annual revenue >US$200m) for at least one year
  • Outstanding Achievements Route
    • Individuals with exceptional accomplishments in arts and culture, sports, science and technology, or academia and research can qualify even if they do not meet the salary threshold.
    • A new track specifically for AI and quantum computing talent is being introduced to allow non-cash components like stock options to count toward the salary requirement.
